Malted barley is chock full of beneficial enzymes like phosphatase, chitinase, urase, protease and amylase. These enzymes act as catalysts in your soil, helping microbes break down into nutrients that your plant can use.

One major benefit of using malted barley powder is that it allows plants to flower 15% to 20% faster. Also, much less support is needed for the flowers due to the increased tensile strength of the plant.

How to use it

Add it on top of the soil and wet well with water after application. This product must be thoroughly mixed in the upper centimeter of the substrate, otherwise it will form a hard crust.

Suggested dosage

Apply 1 tablespoon per 4 liters of substrate every week during flowering. It is especially useful when mixed with Bloom2 or Bloom AUTO to maximize flower development and help prevent the substrate from forming a hard crust.
