Mexican Sativa feminized has 70% sativa genes and performs well both in a grow room and outdoors. In a Mediterranean climate with long summers it can easily grow up to two meters high but is also at home in cooler climates. During the flowering phase, which lasts 50 to 70 days, these plants grow quite a lot, so a sufficient ceiling height is essential. The increase in height can be reduced somewhat by keeping the growth phase short. Thinning the plants increases this effect. Side branches respond well to this technique, and to other growing methods such as Sea of Green (SOG), Screen of Green (SCROG), lollipopping and supercropping. When applied correctly, this can significantly increase yield. During the growth and flowering phase, Mexican Sativa gives off only a subtle scent - a plus for discreet growers. This changes once it is harvested and dried. The scent is a blend of sandalwood and floral aromas, with an earthy pine undertone. Depending on the phenotype, there may also be notes of licorice and citrus.
